At Full Council, Cllr. Matthew Goodwin-Freeman spoke about the importance of young carers in a cross-party motion.
Matthew started by issuing a thanks to all young carers in Harrow for all their silent work.
Reflecting as a member of the Corporate Parenting Panel, Matthew highlighted that all councillors have responsibilities as Corporate Parents to look out and support young people in care too. Matthew also talked about his time as a young carer, young ambassador and eventually councillor.
